Our Restaurant

Our restaurant is named after the city that was once the capital of Indian royalty and a playground to the Rajputs and the Royal family. Now serving as the state capital of  Rajasthan and known as the 'Pink City' (from the colour of its houses),  Jaipur continues to grasp the majesty of Royal Indian traditions.

Continuing this theme, we at Jaipur IPSWICH  pride ourselves in providing the highest standard of traditional Indian cuisine, however within a very contemporary modern setting and therefore the fusion between the contemporary and the traditional provides a smart and sophisticated dining experience.

Our menu emphasises incorporating both the traditional classic favourites as well as original new dishes which complements eastern flavours to the western pallet.   We offer a wide array of meat, seafood and vegetable dishes, all of which can be prepared by our Chef to specific customer requirements / dietary needs.

The restaurant is open seven days a week from 5.30pm to 10.30pm (11.30pm on Friday and Saturday). As we are particularly busy at weekends, reserving your table in advance is advisable to avoid disappointment.

The restaurant seats 70 guests and is available for private entertaining by appointment.

Jaipur Management

Members of the Jaipur Management Team have actively been involved in the industry for over two decades in various roles and therefore the knowledge and experience gained over the years is an invaluable asset in offering recommendations to our guests in their choice of dishes and having a comprehensive understanding of the preparation of the food. Also having team members with professional backgrounds within the service sector in the city, this enables us to apply a diversity of approach and understanding of customer care and attention. We believe that our appreciation of good customer care enables our front-line team to offer our guests an enriching gastronomic experience. Our passion for fine service is paramount.

Our Chef

Our Chef is very much at the heart of our establishment and his path to success began over 20 years ago in the position of Assistant Cook within a humble family business. He believes that working from the ground-up is essential training for any good head Chef in providing them with the acute awareness and insight necessary to know how each section of his kitchen is performing. Moving up the ranks and developing his skills and experiences across some of the most successful Indian restaurants in East Anglia, his knowledge of spice fusions is second to none.

Guests visiting the Jaipur no doubt have their dining experience enriched by our fine service and attention to detail within a very contemporary modern setting but it is the quality of food which is pivotal to our success in client retention.

During busy trade when the pressure is on and time is of the essence, there will be no compromise in the quality of the food we serve.
